The mortal remains of Ghanaian Times Reporter Samuel Nuamah, who got killed in the recent accident involving a vehicle carrying some members of Ghana’s Presidential Press Corps, has been laid to rest.
A ceremony held at the forecourt of the State House in Accra, Thursday, was attended by politicians including President John Mahama, friends, family and media practitioners.
Nuamah lost his life Thursday, August 20, 2015, when a mini-bus carrying the Presidential Press Corps burst a tyre and somersaulted several times at Shai Osudoku near Tema in the Greater Accra region.
Several others sustained injuries and were admitted at the 37 Military Hospital for treatment.
The vehicle was returning to Accra from the Volta Region where Mahama had attended the annual convention of the EP Church.
