Sassuolo coach reveals 'unique' Kevin Boateng was first transfer target

Sassuolo coach Roberto De Zerbi says 'unique' Kevin-Prince Boateng was his first transfer target.

Boateng made a surprised return to the Serie A after helping Eintracht Frankfurt clinch the German Cup.

He has been in top shape for the side after joining on a two-year deal.

And coach Roberto De Zerbi has revealed the Ghanaian has always been his top transfer target.

"Unique, exceptional, he is the first player I wanted." he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

Boateng has previously played for AC Milan as well as Las Palmas, Schalke 04, Hertha Berlin, Tottenham Hotspur and Portsmouth.
