Amiable singer and songwriter, Queen eShun got the showbiz industry talking after she opened a can of worms regarding her working relationship with her former manager while she worked with Quohpimens Musiq.
To many, the beautiful and bubbly musician was an exciting prospect who was going to carve her path as far as female musicians in the country were concerned.
Although there are several school of thoughts about male managers getting involved amorously with their female signees, Queen eShun, known in real life as Ethel Esi Eshun denied on a number of occasions stressing her story was different.
In an interesting twist of events, however, the songstress accused her former manager, Stephen Mensah of emotional abuse, manipulations and hoarding funds she gained from shows.
She said the two were romantically involved with each other and were due to settle down but she had to let that ship sail when she could no longer deal with the maltreatment.
Taking his turn on GhanaWeb’s #SayItLoud, Mr. Mensah while responding to some of the allegations indicated that he never emotionally abused the singer nor spent monies obtained from her performances alone.
He told Laud Harris Adu-Asare that he had lost count of the number of times they had shared the proceeds from her gigs.
