German side Schalke 04 are to cut loose on-loan Chelsea left-back Abdul Rahman Baba.
Rahman returned to the Royal Blues last summer, despite being injured, with the hope of eventually getting fully fit and forcing his way into the first team.
However, renowned German tabloid BILD says Domenico Tedesco’s are now ready to cut their losses and send Baba back to Chelsea next month.
Schalke management and Baba accept the move hasn't worked out and are ready to part ways.
Chelsea are likely to seek a new loan move for Baba for the second-half of the season.
Baba has made 4 appearances for the club in the ongoing campaign.
