Sevilla’s sporting director Monchi, has denied that the club has any interest in signing of Real Valladolid’s Mohammed Salisu.
His good performance this season has put him in the spotlight of some LaLiga clubs , but Sevilla does not seem to be one of them.
The injury suffered by the Portuguese central defender Daniel Carriço has forced Sevilla into the transfer market but according to Monchi his replacement will not be the young Ghanaian centre back.
“Miguel Ángel sporting director of Real Valladolid knows how we work . Today we do not do individual, but global, follow-ups, so there is nothing like that, " said the Monchi.
In addition, Monchi had some kind words for Miguel Ángel Gómez himself, his previous right hand in Sevilla : "He was a partner in many battles, most won and enjoyed. Everything good that could happen to me is a joy ." he added.
