The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof Ebenezer Oduro Owusu is pleading with lecturers and students to 'protect' the image of the institution.
According to him, a recent exposé by the British Broadcasting Corporation [BBC] on ‘Sex for Grades’ has widely tarnished the image of the school to the international world – something he is much worried about.
Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’, Prof Ebenezer Oduro Owusu charged the entire University body to “lift up the spirit” and “make the school proud again.”
This comes after Professor Ransford Gyampo and Dr Paul Kwame Butakor were interdicted by the University of Ghana [UG] following the BBC's "Sex for Grades" exposé.
