Steve Polack was sacked as coach of Kotoko soon after the team were axed from the CAF Confederation
Steve Pollack is heading to court to contest his wrongful dismissal as Asante Kotoko coach and has launched a stinging attack on the Dr Kwame Kyei management.
The Englishman was fired last Friday just days after his side crashed out of the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup at CARA Brazzaville.
The reason for his sack remains unknown but there are suggestions the Birmingham-born paid for his off-the-pitch behaviour.
Pollack is said to have told an unnamed source: ''They say coaches are fired to be fired, but I don't understand why they sacked me. I am European, not an African, to just take the money (US$ 16,000 compensation) and say bye bye and walk away
''My lawyers have told me that I should relax and that they will go all the way to find a solution to this issue and until that is done I am not leaving here.
''How long has this management been in office? They have already changed four coaches, but nobody is questioning that. The problem is not with the technical direction of the club; it is management. ''
