National Organiser for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joshua Hamidu Akamba, claims that the Takoradi girls are alive and are currently with the CID boss.
According to Akamba in an interview with Citizen Kofo Owusu on Ahotor Fm monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the girls are still alive and their parents must demand them from the CID boss because she knows where they are.
“The children are still alive and the parents must demand their children from the CID boss. That woman knows the whereabouts of the children, they are not dead and she knows,” Akamba alleges.
The Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah on Tuesday, 2nd April 2019 at a press conference told Ghanaians that her outfit was in the known as to the whereabouts of the Takoradi kidnapped girls.
A few months later, the Acting IGP, James Oppong Boanuh announced that the results of the DNA test on remains retrieved in Takoradi have been relayed to families of the three missing girls along with condolences.
