Asia Huang, who is widely known as Aisha, was nicknamed the "untouchable galamsey queen", for her hitherto uncanny ability to wriggle her way out of trouble each time law enforcement agents caught up with her.

She is said to have built links with powerful people in society, including law enforcement officials, and obtained secret videos of some of them in bed with Chinese ladies she brought into the country. Reports say she uses the videos to blackmail influential Ghanaians into coming to her aid each time her illegal activities land her in trouble.

A source who claimed to have had close ties to Aisha in the past sent pictures to YEN.com.gh, which suggest that influential galamsey operative is living like a queen in Ghana.

The source, who contacted YEN.com.gh on condition of anonymity, said they knew Aisha personally and was aware of the scale of her galamsey operations in Ghana.

Describing Aisha as a "serial criminal", the source told YEN.com.gh that she hailed from the Fuzhou region of China.

The source said Aisha began living in Ghana illegally over five years ago.

She is said to have begun destroying the environment as soon as she arrived in Ghana by cutting down trees for logs before proceeding to engage in illegal mining.

She is said to have also forged marriage documents and paid off corrupt immigration officials in order to receive a permanent residency in Ghana.

YEN.com.gh's source also said that Aisha paid off Ghanaian officials at the Ghana embassy in Beijing in order to facilitate the illegal immigration of thousands of Chinese into Ghana.

The source said Aisha had transformed into a "greedy monster" since she arrived in Ghana and that she had the habit of displaying racist tendencies towards Ghanaians, especially her employees.

Our source also supplied us with a video which s/he says shows Aisha's galamsey sites.
