The Belgium First Division A league which is the country’s first-tier championship came to an abrupt end on Friday due to the deadly Coronavirus.
Club Brugge who had amassed 70 points after 29 games were declared champions whilst Waasland-Beveren who have Agyepong as a loaned player from Manchester City got 20 points and are rooted at the bottom pf the league.
Agyepong who featured for Scottish side Hibernian on loan last season made fourteen league appearances for Waasland-Beveren this season and failed to score a goal or provide an assist.
He will return to his parent club this summer as another loan move beckons for next season.
