Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has been highly impressed with the performances of Thomas Partey and seeks to bring him to his star studded side according to reports.
The Ghanaian midfielder has been one of the best midfielders in La Liga this season and Zidane sees him as the perfect replacement for Casemiro, who is regarded as the best defensive midfielder in the world currently.
Atletico Madrid do not want to let their prized asset go however but if Real Madrid want to make the move, they would have to cough up €60 million.
Thomas Partey can play as a defensive midfielder and a central midfielder. He has even been fielded as a right back on occasion by Diego Simeone.
Partey has been a key player for Atletico Madrid this season, playing 22 times for them in the league and scoring two goals.
