The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Professional Studies, Accra has met with members and leadership of the school’s alumni branch in Toronto, Canada.
At a meeting with the executives of the North American branch of IPS/UPSA Alumni Association, Professor Okoe Amartey encouraged them to show interest in issues concerning the school.
He also seized the opportunity to invite them to the school’s Alumni Homecoming scheduled for May 19, 2020, as part of activities earmarked for the university’s 55th anniversary.
The Alumni Homecoming will provide a platform to celebrate former students of the school who are making strides around the world, Prof. Amartey revealed.
The Vice-Chancellor updated the gathering on some projects the school have been undertaking to make it competitive in the global comity of schools.
Prof Amartey was emphatic the projects will enhance the image of UPSA, improve its effectiveness, and promote its research capabilities.
