The audit of the pink sheet exhibits by accounting firm KPMG has been suspended temporarily after a protest by the third respondent.

The suspension came after the NDC legal team demanded an immediate suspension in the audit of the pink sheet exhibits protesting that the process had been compromised.

The International accounting firm started auditing the pink sheets tendered in evidence to the Supreme Court by the Petitioners who are challenging the 2012 president results.

All the parties involved in the matter agreed that KPMG undertakes the process to ascertain how many pink sheets were tendered in evidence. The auditing was at the instance of the lead Counsel for the governing NDC, Tsatsu Tsikata.

But a member of the NDC legal team, Abraham Amaliba in an interview with XYZ News stated that additional boxes have been suspiciously added to the number of boxes that were taken inventory on Friday.

He said the NDC will make an official complaint before the court on Tuesday.

Abraham Amaliba stated that, they will ask the court For KPMG to use one of the pink sheets given to the judges for the auditing.

According to Mr. Amaliba, the pink sheets in the custody of the court registrar have been compromised, hence their call for the suspension of the audit.

Meanwhile, a member of the NPP legal team has dismissed the allegations by the NDC legal team and has asked the auditing to continue as planned.

Garry Nimako told XYZ News that the allegations by the NDC are baseless and finds it strange that the NDC is demanding suspension of the auditing.
