The vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Prof. Kwadwo Asenso-Okyere, is unlikely to secure a second-term in office.
JOY NEWS has learnt that the University Council met last Thursday and decided that Prof. Asenso-Okyere?s bid for a second term will not be entertained.
The Council also reportedly asked the vice Chancellor to tender his resignation.
Prof. Asenso-Okyere?s current tenure ends in June.
Recently, some students of the university demanded his resignation, following allegations that his son was involved in examination malpractices and grade fixing at the university.
