Former President John Mahama has advised NDC executives who will vote at the party’s 9th delegates Congress at the Trade Fair today to elect executives they can trust.

According to him, Ghanaians are counting on the NDC to deliver them from the hardships inflicted on them by the Akufo-Addo government hence the NDC cannot fail.

In a solidarity message ahead of the election, Mahama said Ghanaians are willing to change government in the 2020 elections.

“Across the seven regions I have so far visited, Ashanti being the latest, the message from our grassroots is one- “to unite and work to deliver Ghanaians from the unprecedented hardship imposed by the lying Akuffo-Addo administration,” Mahama wrote.

He also urged the delegates to choose hardworking executives.

Below are details of his post

My fellow members of the great NDC,

I have over the past few weeks criss-crossed the country and visited your constituencies with my campaign to lead our great party, the NDC, to victory in 2020.

Across the seven regions I have so far visited, Ashanti being the latest, the message from our grassroots is one- “to unite and work to deliver Ghanaians from the unprecedented hardship imposed by the lying Akuffo-Addo administration.”

The people of Ghana are ready and willing to change the negative course in the 2020 elections. We, the NDC, cannot fail them!

To end this hardship by winning emphatically the 2020 elections, we must elect National Executives we can trust. Executives who are hardworking and committed to the noble Victory 2020 agenda.

Do not allow yourself to be influenced materially to decide your vote. We must elect an executive that is trustworthy, competent and in which our diverse membership all have a stake.

God grant us journey mercies as we converge at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra as one big Akatamanso family for our 9th National Delegates Congress.

3y3 Zu!
