The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld President Mahama's presidency and dismissed the petitioners challenge of the 2012 presidential elections.
The nine-member panel of Justices gave Mr. Mahama a clean ‘gavel of health’.
"The overall effect is that the first respondent (Mahama) was validly elected and the petition is therefore dismissed," Justice William Atuguba, president of the nine-member panel, told a final day hearing.
The Bench’s final verdict means Mr. Mahama can see through his full four-year term as President.
