Watch as Fantana joins mum on NDC campaign launch

Ghanaian Highlife and Afro Dancehall singer, Francine Nyanko Koffi, also known as Fantana, has been spotted campaigning alongside her mother, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, the Member of Parliament for the Jomoro Constituency in the Western Region.

Dorcas Affo-Toffey, who is running on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) launched her campaign on August 27, 2024.

The campaign launch featured hundreds of NDC supporters and constituents who thronged the streets in support of the MP.

In a series of pictures shared on social media by the MP, Fantana could be seen standing next to her mother.

The duo, who rocked branded T-shirts and waved NDC flags were all smiles as they joined the supporters in the procession.

The procession ended at a park in the constituency where Fantana joined her mother on stage for the official campaign launch.

Dorcas Affo-Toffey hopes to maintain the seat, battling fierce competition from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate Paul Essien.

Meanwhile Fantana's support for her mother was met with positive reactions on social media as netizens praised her for the act.
