Mohammed Kudus got off the mark in the 2023/2024 season, helping West Ham United secure a 4-1 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Kudus grabbed the second goal for West Ham by heading home a rebound to put the Hammers two goals ahead.

The goal renewed Kudus’ confidence and saw him produce some great performances for West Ham in the game.

Deployed on the left flank again, he created one chance, hit the target four times, and created two big chances, hitting the woodwork once.

Kudus also made five recoveries, won two duels, and produced two long balls that helped West Ham’s transition.

Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen, and Lucas Paquetá were the other goal-scorers for West Ham, while Ipswich’s equalizer came through Delap.

A difficult start to the 2024/2025 season has seen West Ham pick up eight points from their seven matches and currently lie 12th on the league table.

Kudus has meanwhile reported to the Black Stars camp for the doubleheader against Sudan on October 10 and 14 in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

After a draw with Angola and a defeat to Niger in the opening two matches of the qualifiers, Otto Addo’s charges are under pressure to secure victory against Sudan, and Kudus will be a key element of that.
