The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, has taken his campaign to Afram Plains in the Eastern Region on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
A video of the event shows Mahama, a former president, and his campaign crossing the Afram River to reach remote parts of the area.
It showed Mahama climbing the staircase of the ferry, transporting his team and their equipment.
The convoy vehicles of the NDC presidential candidate could also be seen on the ferry.
Many supporters of the NDC were also on board, singing and dancing.
As the ferry was moving, a group of fisher folks, who had surrounded it with their boats, could be seen escorting it.
The fisher folks engaged in beautiful displays as they accompanied the former president and his entourage.
The fisher folks engage in all kinds of manoeuvres with their boats to the amazement of the persons on the ferry.
