The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) has refuted allegations that it invested GHC3,400,000.00 of its health funds in gold-trading firm Menzgold.
The NHIA described the accusation making the round on some social media platforms as “mischievous” as it emphasised that “the Authority has not invested any such amount with Menzgold Limited and does not intend to do so”.
In a Facebook post on Friday, 28 September 2018, the NHIA further asked the public to “ignore this falsehood”.
