Western NPP applauds Mireku-Duker on his appointment as campaign coordinator for mining areas

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Western Regional Executive Committee has commended George Mireku-Duker on his recent appointment as the Campaign Coordinator for Mining Areas across Ghana.

Mireku-Duker, a Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuaem and Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources is expected to lead the party’s outreach in mining communities as part of the NPP’s broader 2024 campaign strategy.

In a statement signed by Issah Fuseini, Western Regional Communications Director, the NPP expressed pride in Mireku-Duker’s selection, emphasizing his strong expertise and commitment to the mining sector.

His deep understanding of the challenges and dynamics within mining communities, coupled with his regional roots, was noted as a significant asset for the party's campaign efforts.

“Mr. Mireku-Duker’s leadership and commitment have always been inspiring,” the statement said, adding that the party is optimistic about his contribution to a successful campaign.

The NPP Western Regional team assured their support, pledging to work closely with him to ensure impactful results.

The party also extended its appreciation to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP national campaign team for recognizing Mireku-Duker’s dedication and appointing him to the crucial role.

His appointment, the NPP noted, not only acknowledges his hard work but also highlights the Western Region’s significance in the party’s quest to “break the 8”.

Mireku-Duker, who also serves as the Dean of NPP Western Region Parliamentary Candidates and Chairman of the Western Region Organization Committee, was celebrated for his leadership and consistent commitment to both the party and his constituency.
