You are behaving like a class one kid after years of political experience - Sammy Awuku’s aide to Spio-Garbrah
Atick Yakubu, an aide to Sammi Awuku, the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has claimed that aspiring National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, behaves like a class one pupil.
According to him, Dr. Spio-Garbrah’s conduct is strange, given his many years of political experience, as he appears unprepared to contest as flagbearer, MyNewsGH.com reported.
Yakubu’s comment on social media, was in reaction to a concern raised with regard to a possible influence of the flagbearership race by top NDC executives.
The NDC chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and the general secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, were allegedly supporting former president John Mahama’s bid to become the flagbearer.
According to Dr. Spio-Gabrah, the support skewed the process to select the flagbearer, and for that reason, he wished to pull out of the race.
This, however, did not go down well with Yakubu, who argued that the astute politician should give Ghanaians a break.
He went on to say that Dr. Spio-Gabrah is behaving like a class one pupil who runs to the class teacher on everything to complain.
Yakubu added that he first heard of the politician’s name when he was writing in his ‘first copy’ book.
For that reason, he went on, there was no need for him to nag like an abandoned ‘side-chick.’
