The chorus sang at that time was "Let the blood flow". The citizenry and the poor who were deprived of good leadership after Nkrumah, and in fact due to the errors he was triggered to commit by leaders of the UGCC, sang the cruel song. Revolution often lead to cruelty either in secret or in the open.
