Accra, March 12, GNA - The Ghana@50 Secretariat will on March 13 organise a seminar on women's contribution to Ghana's Development as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, a statement issued by the Ghana @50 Secretariat said on Monday.
The seminar on the theme: "The Contribution of women to National Development" which is to be held at the International Conference Centre (AICC) would have Ms Joyce Aryee, Chief Executive Officer, Ghana Chamber of Mines, Mrs. Gifty Kusi, Member of Parliament Tarkwa-Nsueaem and Mrs Joyce Villars, Managing Director, Camelot, as speakers. The statement said topics to be discussed would be: Women's Contribution to Ghana's Independence and Democratic Governance, Women's Role in Parliament and Women's Contribution to Economic Development in Ghana since Independence.
On March 14, an international marketing seminar would be held at the Golden Tulip Hotel.
On March 16, there would be a Reggae Concert dubbed: "Back to our Roots" at the AICC. There would be a play titled the Meeting of The Heroes at the Kumasi Culture Centre on March 18.
