Nkrumah applied but was denied until his successor assumed office. Many of you young generation have no idea how bad Dr. Nkruma's administration was. The corruption we are experiencing today began from the time of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

He had a great vision, but he was very poor in administration and very brutal and extremely temperamental. He was a great visioneer but lacked the drive to unite the people, which led to the collapse of his administration.

I have witnessed many leaders come and go in this country, but none like Dr. Nkrumah. Yet I cannot entirely exempt him and his administration from the mismanagement as we see today.
