Political Appointment is the cause of these nonsense. Political Appointment is the root of most societal problems around the world. It is a partially deceptive democracy concept that breeds corruption, conspiracies and abuses etc. Political Appointment create judges and makes them corrupt to abuse their powers without integrity. If judges were elected, they would be careful not to lose their position but to retain powers by enough integrity, truth and discipline. I will surely end political appointments around the world, by starting in America.

They have turn the constitutional court into a criminal court arresting and jailing people.

My advice is: our native instinct about Justice is superior to the what the West gave us. The law must serve Justice. Most Ghanaians argue with passion and full body involvement. Calm your court and don't personalise.

The chief Justice had no right whatsoever to order an arrest of a lawyer who argued with her during the course of a case deliberation.
If the defending lawyer has shown a disrespect to the CJ she could sanction the lawy ...

The chief Justice had no right whatsoever to order an arrest of a lawyer who argued with her during the course of a case deliberation.
If the defending lawyer has shown a disrespect to the CJ she could sanction the lawyer or report him/ her to the judicial council but not to order his arrest .
The CJ was once a lawyer before ascending to this current position but that does not make her better than any of her colleagues with the same years of at the bar .
