Akologo is a Ghanaian though. He just plays in Bolivia. Ati-Zigi should be Ghana's number 1. He is the best goalkeeper in Switzerland. Manaf has not played recently.

This on going Afcon has thought us many things , one of them is big names don't play football anymore.Angola, Mozambique, Mauritania , Gambia and Namibia have shown us this. We MUST start with our home grown players then add the committed foreign ones. Which means we have to take our U15, U17, and U20 seriously from now on. There are so many advantages to this which comes with the plan. Commitment , unity , playing as a team and for Ghana all can be achieved easily .We all know current Black stars are not united, they can't sing the national anthem ,play selfish , so much indiscipline and they don't play for the jersey .See how the Mauritanians,Mozambiquans, Angolans sing their anthems with passion.The current top striker for Senegal is Lamin.He is from the U15 and they groomed him locally. Big names like Ngueye from Everton will be on the bench and this locally groomed player who is only 20 years old will be banging in the goals. We can go back to Senegal and learn from them. God has blessed us with talents we just have to spot them. The process of doing same thing in Afcons,2019 , 2021 and 2023 where we rely on same foreign players has brought us pain, agony and heartbreaks.
