  The cedi will still depreciate against foreign currencies as long as our economy is based on importantation of goods & services than exportation. As a country we need to encourage use of ELECTRIC VEHICLES to reduce cost of fuel imports, eat what we grow locally and also export, control continuous mass importantation of consumables by whole businesses and consume locally made goods . Use of IMF loans to
  to rescue depreciation of cedi is not sustainable but just a short term approach.Ghana annually needs over 15 billion dollars earnings from export to meet its import obligations and have surplus therefore any economic measures which seek not meet this target will affect the cedi .Ghana should export more and rather control imports so that the can appreciate against foreign currencies.

  Why should we bring the theory of demand and supply? Why should $1 be 12 ghc? Why is not one on one across board?like $1 1 cedi, $1 1 naira, 1 naira 1 poundand so on across board, tge present arrangements is unfair
