The risk of sudden deportation by the immigration authorities is just one of the sources of CONSTANT stress faced by Ghanaians living abroad "without papers".
Other disadvantages- being unable to accesss further education and training that would allow you to make progress in your career/vocation and earn much better wages.Also you may not be able to access full medical healthcare services- this could cost you your life.Constant stress often leads to serious PHYSICAL and MENTAL illness and ultimately a shortened life span.

Yes, you're may be right about some folks 'marrying' their sisters to obtain papers, but that isn't the reason why there are so many Patels in the West. Patel and Singh are two names that are common among Indians, and given that India is asuch a populous nation, it reasons that many Indian immigrants will have the last name Patel or Singh.

If you overstay the visa, you just brought a huge problem on yourself. You can't go home because if you go, applying for visa and hoping you'd get is like joking. And you can't do anything or have a good live apart from being in constant fear of deportation and praying nothing happens around where you are. Because if anything happens, the first thing the police will do is ask for your ID.
