  They should also guard the uniform by not bullying civilians. They were once like us. They shouldn't be carried away by the 26-week physical and weapons handling training, start referring to us as bloody civilians and descending on us like they did at Ashaiman. The Brigadier-General should have added that.
  
  Finally, they should remember that death awaits us all. It's the same 6 feet for military personnel and civilians. Conduct yourself in such a way not to incur the curse and wrath of any civilian. Ensure that you go the grave full of grey hairs and with honour.
