  @Uncle James, try and read the article once again, the emissions tax is different from VAT on domestic electricity consumption. The two are separate taxes being proposed by the government.

  So the goverment is owing the independent power producers $1.6 Billion, GRA will be shutting them down for owing Carbon Tax because IPP don't collect money from ECG to pay the tax...
