  There is high level of crime in the Akan communities. Meanwhile, they are the people who puke garbage anytime a small misunderstanding is recorded in the North. Central, Ashanti and Eastern Regions are crime scenes.

  This is a serious matter. Bepong noted as Russia in Kwahu, is noted for such incidence. In 1991, the community had same confrontation with the police in that area. They nearly destroyed the right eye of a police officer.

  What l don't understand is that if such crime has been committed, the criminal should have been sent to the police station immediately.
  
  There are so many environmental factors affecting the people of Bepong. Naturally they were warlike people but very hardworking. They are very good farmers . Thier farm produce are always enroute to Accra. Bepong people feed the KWAHU towns like Mpreaso, Obomeng, Atibie, Obo, Nkwatia and Abetifi.
  The town is without proper town roads of which reason the community members are always gathered Infront of the Palace. This in effect facilitate mob action any time there is an incidence.
  
  As a service personal at Ntomen in 1990 , who l noticed was that the people drink alcohol a lot. At 10am you can't do any serious business with the town folk. So l am not surprised the action of the killer and the rapist.
  The Bepong themselves are aware of this. So , the stakeholders in that area should handle Thier issue holistically.

  Warning shots go into the sky or in the ground but NOT into the crowd. Sorry, the shots were not warning but shoot to kill shots. The officers involved must be dealt with appropriately

  Bring back the death penalty. A person who kill another person unjustifiably must be hung until he dies.
  The judicial system continue to pardon murderers who come back from prison to commit the same heinous crime.
