Please change your constitution and fix the problem.
Abolish the delegate system. It is fraught with bribery, manipulation and intimidation.
Allow all card bearing members to vote.

The solution is not abolishment of the delegate system. The first solution is that the constitution must force the president to choose half of his ministers from parliament. This is a major reason why people want to go to parliament because they want to ministers. Also MMDCE elections must done because it's the of the MMDCE to bring development to the door step of the constituents. Because they are not voted by the constituents they only know the MP as the development executioner. If nothing goes on well at the constituency no matter how best the MP performed at parliament that MP will lose at his constituency. If these two are not done we will continue to lose the best out of Parliament.

Keep the primaries, and try giving away 86 inch tv sets instead of the 32 inch tv sets that Farouk was handing to your crooked NPP delegates. These primaries have been in place for years now, so what suddenly made you to realize that they're counter-productive? Instead of working sincerely to address the rampant corruption in electoral politics, you want to make it easy for sitting Members of Parliament to retain their seats.

How do MPs recoup their huge investment (inducement money) when they become MPs with their party in opposition?
I'm wondering how an MP can get back the hundred of thousands of cedis they paid in bribes to get elected , when they only go to parliamentary to sit on committees, without any key appointments?
Could someone explain how MPs in opposition make the big bucks as MPs?
What are their motivations?
Or is it bcos they want to be called Honorable?
Please help me figure this out.
