The school needs to be investigated. Most schools don’t care to send students to hospitals when they are severely ill. I went to an all girls school and it was the same there fortunately no one died.

I thought I was alone on this one. I experienced same when I was in Senior High(all girls school). When you are sick and you visit the school infirmary you are treated like an outcast. Even when it is serious they wouldn't care because they think you are faking it in order to be given an exeat home. I even ended up collapsing in class before they realized it was serious and they decided to take me to the hospital. They refused to call my parents, I had to beg a nurse to lend me her phone to call my mom who rushed to the school and requested to be taken home with her. They even questioned my mom on how she got to know I was sick. I wonder where senior high schools infrimary nurses got their training from. They are very rude.

Once parents/guardians start suing the schools, a new orientation or policy will be in place. If the kid is feigning sickness the hospital sometimes may detect that. It is just a dilemma what to do as school administration when girls get to that age. But something more thoughtful should be considered by the schools in these mattters. The school can make the parents come to understanding that the moment a child desires to go to the hospital and chest is signed the school is legally indemnified of what happens to the child.

That's not right to say, to call the school evil. My daughter attended the school and passed out well as a very disciplined citizen. Don't condemn institutions. Try to correct them legally.

Those who think they have made it in life do not care about the rest.Visit any public hospital and you will realize what I'm talking about.Some nurses have no business wearing the green and white,their main focus is the pay.formerly, people chose professions because they are in love and want to serve not as the means to an economic end.This is the main reason why we now have bad teachers, unprofessional journalists, careless drivers,insensitive nurses, doctors who are afraid of blood etc.In fact every aspect of Ghanaian life is' basaa'.We really need to change, I fear for Ghana's future!!! This why in modern day, boarding school is good.
We don't have the facilities and procedural capacity to host thousands of students.
Community schools should be the option as done in advanced countries
