FYI: a driver's mate, whose job is not that of a co-drive. does the following:
- Assisting the driver with deliveries;
- May be required to take and assemble products for customers;
- Assisting the driver on up to 30 deliveries per day;
- Loading and unloading vehicles; ....
- Picking stock and loading it onto you assigned vehicle prior to the start of your day....
A driver's mate can become a driver when he learns to drive and gets a driver's license.
In conclusion, a vice-president is neither a First lady/gentleman nor a staff member in the Jubilee House, not even a Press Secretary. Constitutionally, a vice-president takes over the role of the president when the latter is absent or incapacitated.

Where is the literature that spells out what a president must know for which reason Srem-Sai is claiming the president and/or vice must know from scratch how to perform presidential roles?

When did we start marking the performances of our vice presidents? From Ekow Nkansah Akaa to Paa Kwasi Amisah Arthur, Ghanaians were not interested in the duties or powers of the vice president. The competency and the resilience of Dr Bawumia has made the people awake and begging to show interest in the work of the vice president.
If you say he is the president if the president travels doesn't change the truth he said. What about if the president doesn't travel, how many weeks or months does the president spend on his trip and is it enough for the vice to make important decisions during that time. In fact per common sense you will even consult your master even though he has traveled on critical and vital decisions.
In the absence of both the president and the vice, the speaker of parliament also automatically becomes the president. Some have happened before in Ghana. Can you tell me a landslide decision which the speakers have made?
You said a mate cannot drive and is not true. Some mates drive very well only that they may not have a license or authority and is exactly what Bawumia illustrated.
He is a mate but can drive well when the need arises so give him license and that is the point he made
