This is unfortunate but I think with time and education, many more people will appreciate the good intentions of Dr Bawumia. In what capacity is going to scrap those taxes now?. Is he the president?. He doesn't take decisions for the nation. Wait until he is also made the president to be able to take such decisions.

The president is always in charge and upon many other pieces of advice given to him, he take a decision and that is final. The president has the mandate and will choose someone to assist him. Simplicita. Dr. Bawumia has not been voted for. Just understand it this way. Do remember Ackaa and Rawlings episode?. Across the world, do hear the activities of a vice president?. Bawumia has even done so well to put his name on the spot light this way. What can you remember any other vice president in Ghana for? A lot can be said about Bawumia. Let's credit him for that pls. By the way, I really don't care about who will win or loose the elections. I won't get anything directly from these politicians. I just need to work hard and survive.

If you even want to cancel them, you don't say it while your boss is still ruling the country, because it's the same party ticket the president is ruling with. Even if Akufo Addo's presidency finishes today, the taxes are tagged with the party and not the individual. You don't let your desperation ruin your chances by betraying your boss.
