Whether you killed a thief or whoever it is still murder and the law must take its cause simple. I hope they will be sentenced for life for torture and murder. No one has the right kill another. Blanks won’t learn common sense, small thing naa they want to kill and they call themselves God worshippers apuuu they even steal unnoticed. Major Mahama was gruesomely killed like that ; an innocent man and now see. God have mercy.

That's not the truth. The deceased was one of the guys who swept the assay "kitchen" after work. Usually the dust gathered after sweeping had some tiny amounts of gold which he together with those boys lynching him used to extract and share. On the said day he was accused of playing smart on his colleagues and that led to the unfortunate demise of the young man. This new narrative is nothing but a lie to free the perpetrators since I was visiting a friend living close to the place where the incident happened ie. close to Ahobraseye hotel in Asankrangwa that day.

What sort of barbaric nonsense is this country getting to. Our AG and courts have wasted tax payers money for the trial of Major Mahamas killers. Took years to pass judgement because of our collapsed courts and legal system. Have we not learnt lessons from Major Mahamas killing plus other killings similar to this. I don't support anyone who steals from another person of public purse . But to do this to a human till he passes on isn't acceptable. Others communities get such thieves to desilt gutters in their neighbourhood. That is a great deterant as the entire community sees the person. They even buy the person food and drinks whilst doing the punishment given them. But to take life of another person isn't right. Let's all change and make a difference in our community and society. This crime makes the monument erected in memory of Major Mahama a joke to our country. Its there to deter others from doing what Major mahama endured.
