The EC wants to make the Ghana card the only card to be used in voting. At the same breath it is not making serious effort to register people by closing or reducing registration to 3pm instead of at least 5pm. EC was supposed to open registration consistently every year. Understandably 2020 was closed due to covid but they failed to open up for 2021, 2022. They just opened in 2023 and only for limited period. On top of all these failures for the EC to move forward the date of voting is clear indication that it wants to systematically disenfranchise people which is against the law. The bottom line is this, it's in everyone's interest to see to it that a fair election is carried out otherwise repercussion will be bad for all. That's a fact.

John Mahama should understand that is not only SDA who worship on Saturday there’s other worshippers who worship on Saturdays all together they are many over six hundred thousand people who knows how many NDC voters among them. Is a win win situation if the EC doesn’t change the date they might decide not to vote , in elections every single vote is very important so the NDC should be careful on that over six hundred thousand votes is not a joke even just five votes can make a difference. They should come up with something that can make them cast their votes
