  They were involved in black market of the Nigerian currency. They were given dollars by the Central Bank of Nigeria and they sold it at the black market for higher rates. Aliko Dangote was part of the cabal and his office was recently raided by the Economic Crimes office in Nigeria. According to sources Tony Elumelu was also involved. So the Naira has been falling due to this practice.
