  Or the mobile telephony companies must team up with some satellite company to make their transmissions reach everywhere in the country.

  The advent of the rural telephony, Rcom, was a welcome news as teachers enjoyed the benefits of all the three major networks with respect to the use of internet.Currently, MTN charges from main accounts for the use of internet because of the roaming factor to the settings without which one cannot use the internet.
  It does not allow the benefits of using bundles or promotions.
  Hence we are appealing to the communications and digitisation minister to intervene on behalf of the rural masses to negotiate with MTN or if possible to subsidize the internet for us as it is now expensive to use internet in the Rcom zones in the rural areas especially teachers being at a disadvantage, because without it will defeat the government's agenda for making telephony and digitisation accessible to rural communities.
