What will be bold and transformative is the establishment of a solar manufacturing base in Ghana. We can then cover the Bui and Akosombo Dam in panels to achieve that 2kMW.

If he had any sense of honesty he would have allowed someone else to stand. All his actions point to dishonesty, greed and wickedness. He doesn't love Ghana or its people. This alone requires millions of dollars of investment. On the basis of this alone, solar energy in the short time cannot be cheaper than conventional energy. The real gains are in the long term. The high cost of power in Ghana is because of thievery and mismanagement. It's not about capacity. This crooked NPP government blamed the NDC for making provisions for excess capacity. And now you are going solar to further increase our capacity. Does that make sense to you. Now everything is about Bawumia, who claimed he has no constitutional mandate to government this country because he is like drivers mate. Which drivers mate talk as if he is the president. You guys deliberately crashed the economy, peoples businesses just because you illegally involved in state capture. Instead of investing in agriculture, you are wasting the money on the power sector which we know has excess capacity. Why not just buy diesel to power the idling power plants.
We know this attempt is not to provide cheap power to Ghanains but the Npp to capture the power sector of the economy.

Sky train, railway from Accra to Paga, one village one dam, factory in every district, airports in Cape Coast etc are but a few of these lofty promises made by Bawumia and his boss, which have never seen the light of day.
