Ghanaians just like attaching politics to everything, and blame people who are not responsible for actions and inactions.
In Ghana, we carry cash for most transactions. In the Developed World, the opposite is true. One can just get a ticket and load money on it and have a code for it to transact many businesses.If the card is stolen or gets into the wrong hands, it cannot be used because the code is not known.
Go ahead and continue to digitize Ghana to reduce corruption and attacks by criminals.

Bawumia should know as an economist that the real costs of discontinuing the Ayalolo Public Bus project started by Mahama and it being reintroduced as a new initiative is the growth and efficiency that would have been had in the public bus transportation system in Ghana.
A country that has very limited resources can stupidly waste money in this manner and instead of the people whose moneys are being wasted rising up in anger to condemn such practices, they are rather attacking each other on political lines and not questioning the managerial competencies of these politrickians who are supposed to effectively manage Ghana's scarce resources.
How would Ghana develop when a lot of resources are wasted via uncompleted, abandoned and deliberately rebranding existing projects for political expediency?
Imagine where Ghana would have been if this public bus transportation project was continued by Akuffo Addo
and Bawumia from 2017?
Imagine the sustainable jobs that would have created in that sector and how that would have alleviated traffic congestion in cities where these buses would have been deployed?
