Betty,you are absolutely right ,most countries have gone into recession.You quite rightly cited the UK etc.How many of those countries have gone to the IMF and,name any major country who is so cash strapped to the extent that,they were unable to meet repayment of any loans they have taken out ,culminating in being blacklisted by lending agencies.Just one major country would do.
For your information,the UK was said to have gone into recession because economic output was done over the last quarter by less than one percentage point.Compare that to Ghana’s economic output at the same time then,come back and tell us whether the NPP Government have done a good job in Ghana.

You want every important landmark in ghana to be named or renamed during your reign, just because you know you don't have any proper legacy to be remembered for. But all this naming of things can never ever compensate for the mess you've created in this country. You can rename Ghana Nhana the only thing you'll be most remembered for is corruption. But you still have 8 months to redeem yourself if you want to be remembered as a statesman. Better late than never.

Kumasi Airport should be simply Kumasi Airport and not named after Nana Osei agyeman Prempeh 1 who belonged to the Danquah/ Busia fraternity and who with Busia advocated for the secession of the Ashanti Region from Ghana .Yakubu Tali (a former Tolon Na)also belonged to the Busia/Danquah political fraternity. Why not simply Tamale Airport? Akuffo-Addo is politicising every issue in Ghana WHY? As a matter of fairness he should rename Kotoka airport after a Ga, and Ho airport after Kotoka.
