Many people in Ashanti, Ahafo, Bono and Akan speaking areas of the Eastern Region of Ghana are NPP members but the churches do not allow members to do partisan politics at church. That is inappropriate and can be dangerous.

Otabil stood in his church in January 2017 to deliver a partisan sermon to his congregation not giving a damn if some of the congregation are not supporters of his party of choice. Today religious institution leaders are mostly partisan people with no care about their congregation’s affiliations, only interested in their tithe! People in these congregations need to wake up.

I've stopped attending church because my leader who's an Akyem will openly critique and lambast the NDC during Mills/JM's regime at the least opportunity. At the time, he had always prayed for Akufo Addo and Bawumia to win the elections.

Today, he can't even talk about the pervasive corruption and hardship we're seeing which he condemned the erswhile administration for. The worse is happening today and as a result, the membership of the congregation has severely drindled.

Before I stopped last year, the church struggle to record half of it's original membership for church service. Meanwhile, the church was always vibrant and filled up with members during NDC time.

The reality now is, people are suffering so much so that, feeding is now a privilege so it's difficult to find the extra resources for church activities.

I will vote for this truthful, bold and honest faithful ambassador and member of the respected Ahmadiyya Muslim faith. Our peace council should learn from this man. He didn’t waste time to clear the air and address the embarrassment of KT Hammond.
