Why can’t the West try such pressure at Biko Haram and Islamic Arab States like Iran, Iran, and Afghanistan? Such proponents would have been slaughtered like goats.
I personally don’t have any problem with people who practice such behaviors. We have been with them since time immemorial. My problem has been with them to have that nasty practice to be recognized and respected like Traditional African marriages between man and woman. I now don’t care if people attack to hurt them. I rather think this is a backward step, let me declare first that I am full bodied heterosexual before I am insulted. Why I think passing this bill is bad for Ghanaians is on 2 fronts, firstly we whom are heterosexual know we have nothing to worry about about being tempted, the problem we are only thinking of is the act they do itself, what we don't think about is the companionship their relationships yield for them especially they get older like any other relationship. Secondly, these are human beings whom should have equal and just rights and being protected by the law not vilified and hounded which is what this bill will do. What goes on behind closed doors and does not affect my quality of life on a day to day basis has NOTHING to do with anybody. Let me just also add with our country in the state it is in and our country's drive to modernise through the use of technology and attract FDI, the passing of this bill will make Ghana now no longer the destination of choice. I really cannot understand why as a nation of faith, we have become so intolerant of our fellow human beings. Shame on Ghana.....
