Sometimes l watch the NDC members with sorrow, why? They invest their time in how to scandalise their opponents, and in fact they are very good at that, but when it comes to ideas to craft a reasonable and sensible dream or vision for the nation Ghana they simply lack the men. No wonder after staying 7 years in opposition all they could come up with is '24 Hour Economy' totally baseless and empty vision or dream. The NPP came up with a simple concise and measurable dream 'Free SHS' which caught on with Ghanaians and resulted in a 1 million vote advantage over the NDC. But look at what NDC could come up with, because they think more of scandalising their opponets, insulting their opponents, speak arrogantly about their opponents. Otherwise why will a whole MP even in the era of 'Right to Information' talk of intercepting contracts and so on when he could request for them. And that why they think just because Ghana is tough, their opponents have faced economic challenges so Ghanaians will vote for them, no vision, no dream, no proven track record and no effort to demonstrate that they are capable, they will rather invest in criticism and scandalising their opponents. Well Dec 7 is just around the corner, we shall see.

Is this the first time a contract has been sole-sourced and this won't be the last. After Ablakwas degree was withheld, he left Legin without a degree until Pres Mills intervened for his certificate to be released to him. He was appointed dwputy education minister and, within two years of his appointment, he built two mansions in his hometown and Accra. He also acquired ten fuel stations in the country. When he was studying for his Master degree in the U. K he was flying first class weekly for lectures fully paid by the state. His driver stole his GHS25,000 feom his car which no knew the source of that money. Now he's talking about the award of 87% of road contracts to one company, without facts. Such a character is in politics?

@Quophi, in this particular contract was captured in the auditor general report of being inflated 3 times the cost. That is huge looting of state funds. Just grab a copy of the report and u will shut up.

Putting it out here in public makes no sense to me if no laws have been flouted. Trump’s son-in-law has $2bB dollar loan added to kushner’s assets. If it is illegitimate, the laws will fall on him. Same with Biden’s son answering question at congress now. The laws do and should not have respect for anyone, regardless of who you are. Hence, if anybody thinks Bawumiah’s brother dies not deserve to get a contract, go to court.
