In this regard, the inferiority is tagged to the buyer’s INCOME and does not define that particular good for all classes of buyers all times. Example Gari: When Asiedu Nketiah was hustling Saakwa in the early 80’s, his low income meant that his wife often bought Gari. As NDC Secretary General, he shifted to Fried Rice. Gari then BECOMES an inferior good relative to his financial clout. The same analogy applies to Kokonte: as we get richer, we snub the Uefa Champion. Today, Asiedu Nketiah and his family are eating KFC for lunch and his dinner table hardly features Lapiiwa. Another commodity we can use as an example is Trotro. We no longer queue at the Lorry Station when our financial situation improves, thus allowing us to buy our own cars. Bear in mind that the Boneshaker is not an inferior good for those who remain poor. The Economic Definition only applies WHEN A POSITIVE INCOME CHANGE OF A CONSUMER DOWNGRADES THAT PARTICULAR GOOD’S CONSUMPTION. If you could think of how Ghanaians practice residential relocation, the concept even gets better understood: Mr. X was staying at Nima before he became an NPP MP. After two terms, he moved to East Legon. In Mr. X’s trajectory, Nima becomes an Inferior Good for him.

Turning the corner is when you reduce it from where you inherited it. It's only under this clueless government that IMF bailout is synonymous with DDEP with its resultant haircuts. I wonder why their book makers are not considering rewriting our textbooks. It's a real shame, my sister.
