Very ironic. We are celebrating our 67th independence anniversary yet we are not independent to express our position on LGBT. Are we really independent? We kicked out the British who left us a demarcated forest reserve. Most of the schools, hospitals, bungalows, etc. they left behind are still in use today. At 67 as an independent state, foreigners, mostly Chinese, are destroying and depleting our forest reserves and water bodies for free. They sleep in tents and hired apartments; they don't build schools or hospitals. They are free to mistreat Ghanaians who work with them. Whilst these things are going on, our leaders are only interested in positions and titles. As our politicians fight among themselves who wins ELECTIONS, the grassroots are busy insulting and fighting among themselves. Are we truly independent?
