Most of these people which includes the president, Gabby Okyere Darko, Ofori Atta and other members of this government have stashed monies into various accounts outside Ghana and if they don't help West to succeed on this agenda, those monies shall be frozen and returned to the state. Acheampong said 'y3ntua' meaning Ghana won't pay its foreign debts to World Bank and others, he implemented 'operation feed yourself' policy and foodstuffs were in abundance. He was able to construct Kaneshie market, Kaneshie sports complex, KATH maternity block which was recently pull down to make way for a new one and many others. By that time Ghanaians hadn't developed so much taste for foreign goods and services like now so the impact wasn't felt much. Right now our governments just can't do without IMF that's why they are dictating to us and lording it over us. The loans are not free and its conditionalities so why poking their noses in our internal affairs ? Our traditions and cultures are different from them so they must leave us alone.
