Otherwise if you are just going to the boasting of just 1 shop in a corner of the Brobx somewhere braiding hair, that was what the cocoa farmer paid for the WASSCE/Olevel Leaver Esi to do.
Can we have our change back for all the subsidies we paid you at the University to do Engineering. There are 5 more Esi's in the village who can be supported to be hairdressers with the investments we made in your Univ education. We are too poor a coubtry to be wasting money on peoples hobby of getting fanciful degrees. And please make the repayment quick.

It would have been news if we hear that you dropped out and now you have 20 Hairdressing Saloon to your name employing over 1000 people across New York or USA.
But as it stands you cannot even keep 1 illegal immigrant employed so what is the point.
Go and look at the Chinese who come from villages in China who cannot even speak a word of English. In few years they owe 10s of manicure and pedicure saloons in the Bronx, Queens and across New York. What about that.

If yu have an experience and want it to be a motivation for others let it be an experience that has value for others to draw inspiration from.
Having a hairdressing saloon many girls who have never stepped foot in a classroom have them in New York, London, Germany, Italy etc. There is nothing exceptional about it.
I would rather take encouragement from a villager from Kwesimintim who has never been to school putting this story of her overcoming her challenges as an immigrant to establish her own hairdressing saloon.
But not someone who studied engineering who cannot even keep an illegal immigrant employed in her one saloon. What then is the value of this story except for self-gratification of no value to anyone.
We are not discouraging you. I would suggest you keep quiet about your modest achievement which many Yaa Mansas, Afuas and Korkor have also achieved but not making sweat about it. The day you hit that 10 Salaoons registered in your name employing even a minimum of 20 people then your story of someone who abandoned a Univ Degree to become a hairbraider will have some value to the world of how you can come from zero to a hero. You are not there yet. Until then I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours!

Why didnt you refuse the University offer and go straight into hairdressing so somone more deserving and wanted the Degree could have taken your place at the University. You wasted everybodys time including your teachers, taxpayer and the individual who had to loose a place at the University because of you.
This is just selfishness with a focus on fame and yourself and nothing for the benefit of society!

Sister take the good advise here. Dust up your Engineering Degree. There are loads of exciting engineering jobs around that does not require this level of physical engagement. Some are very flexible that you can even work from home and earn good money with loads of time in the evening or weekends to indulge in your hairbraiding pastime in the saloon. At 27yrs don't waste your time.
Leave the saloon to those who have no or limited choice and go back to the Profession you trained for. And next time lets read "34 Year Old former Bronx Hairdresser and Ghanaian Female Engineer Designs Lander 4 for NASA's 2032 Mars Mission".
